FAQ: Costs and funding
Subsidies
Are there any subsidies or funding options available to help finance my studies at UM Academy?
There are various subsidies and funding opportunities available, depending on your individual circumstances. For instance, some regions offer subsidies for specific target groups or sectors. Additionally, the Levenlanglerenkrediet (Lifelong Learning Credit) is available for certain programmes at UM Academy, provided you meet the eligibility criteria. You can also check with your employer to see if training budgets are available or if they are willing to reimburse (part of) your tuition fees.
I am an employer. Can I receive funding to support my employees’ continued learning?
Yes, as an employer, there are several subsidies available to support the training and development of your staff. The SLIM subsidy offers funding for SMEs (fewer than 250 employees) for career advice and for developing learning and development strategies within the organisation. Additionally, there are other subsidies available, particularly for employees working in sectors such as healthcare, technology, and construction. For the most up-to-date information on available subsidies, you can visit the Dutch government’s official website.
