Under the label of DEPP, UNU-MERIT offers workshops around a policy field or focus identified by Low and Middle-Income Country policymakers. Based on the issue they identify, we organise a workshop – ranging from 3-5 workdays – including theoretical information sessions, policy discussions, interactive sessions with local stakeholders, and communication and engagement activities. Workshops take place at the location of the organising country, in Maastricht, or they can follow a hybrid setting.

The workshops target senior and middle-level officials of Ministries (of Development, Internal Affairs, Foreign Affairs, Social Affairs, and Migration) and other supporting institutions, as well as representatives from the private sector involved in these focus areas.
