During this course, the following topics will be addressed through developments in legislation and case law:

• Supervision of compliance;
• The preparation, imposition, and enforcement of administrative orders and financial penalties;
• The balancing of interests in enforcement.

The emphasis will be on the enforcement of environmental law, but other examples from administrative enforcement practice may also be discussed.
